This discussion about Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in classical music is the next in our series of open forums, in which we invite artists and specialists in their field to talk about crucial topics affecting the music world. In this discussion, Ruha Devanesan former DEI consultant at Google and Symantec, Gweneth Ann Rand, opera singer, and Dr Jessica Walker, singer and Senior lecturer in Artist Development at RAM, examine EDI through a mix of personal testimony and analysis of current music business structures, with a view to how we might make sustained, positive change.
